Congradulations to you all. MissU
I just got back home safe and sound after 12 days on the open road! My mother was ecstatic to have me back all in one piece.. nothing but a couple of minor bumps and bruises, which definitely surpassed all our expectations :D My last night in Punta Arenas, joined by a group of 20+ crazy gringos, fermented in pisco sour and dressed up as if going on a safari expedition in the 1900s while dancing 80s hits and celebrating Peachy's birthday was one hell of a way out! This was the trip of the lifetime, spent with some of the most amazing characters you could ever meet, in some of the most astounding places on the planet. Safe travels and I hope to see you all soon on our next adventure... hopefully not toooo soon, I need a little time to recuperate.
Happy birthday George, hope you have a fab day! X
HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY GEORGE. Have a great day. xx

Gisli and i reached Buenos Aires tonight without incident, brilliant dinner in the most famous steakhouse in the city Don Julio. Thanks Jim and everybody for the most brilliant trip, have loved the past month, missing the whole team already. Ride safe Robin
Sounds like Dante's Inferno. Remember that quote, from the same author, at the top of the grim, grim hills on the Grizzly in Devon - "death is not the end!". And that was baby stuff compared to what you've endured. Hats off to you all for simply surviving!!
Hi Shorty! We hope you ARE in one piece!! that your drones are still flying, your cameras still clicking and your batteries still charging! Lots of love - M&P XX
A big well done to Butch for keeping the show on the road. The ultimate mechanic!!
Looks like an epic trip, looking forward seeing you all in Galapagos next week. Maija x

Rainforests full of flowers ... Lakes full of fish ... Fields full of Lupins. Sounds magical. Have fun x
From BGS gunpowder plotter to adventurer extraordinaire; about time Jim found a real job! What an epic trip, awesome scenery and flora. Where do I sign for the next one. Enjoy rest of journey.
Just amazing , must be wonderful, great the team !
BMW side stand as bead breaker. Very impressed. Well done that man. Rather Sam than me. Brings back unpleasant memories of doing the same kind of thing on the Nullarbor.
Well done everyone for pushing through such challenging conditions. It looks EPIC! The scenery is breath taking - a filmmakers paradise! I bet Ben is getting some great stuff on the drone. Big up to Pat for keeping everyone topped up with coffee. Safe travels!
Mates, back to the ghastly grey mess of pre Christmas London. Just looking around, taking stock, wishing I was back there with you and missing you all (weirdly!) it was great riding with friends some old and some new on an amazing journey. Thanks to you all for your company and of course Jim aka ‘James’ for enabling such a unique, memorable and cool three weeks. Hope the weather holds fair and you have happy trails to the end of the world. See you when you get back.
The WAGs are almost home after a fabulous week in Argentina that we will never forget! Thanks to everyone for excellent organisation and most importantly to Jim for letting us come along for the ride! It was so much fun! Enjoy the peace and quiet now we’re gone and take lots of care. Ness, Ally, Kristine, Kathy & Soph xx
We’re leaving on a jet plane after a fabulous week - we’ve travelled through some extraordinary country with the scenery changing around every twist and turn. We followed bikers riding through sheer hell in heavy rain on rough roads and on wonderful, sweeping tar roads with no cars and just a few gauchos on their ponies with their dogs. We’ve clambered up mountain trails, strapped on when appropriate, ridden bikes (one with a motor!) and been fishing. It’s been a blast in great company and we wish everyone a wonderful onward journey through Patagonia to the Galapagos. Charles and Jo
Hi Jim and team. The Argentina challenge looks very testing for you all - well done! Hope you do not return to a UK government headed up by Jeremy C!
Breathtaking pictures! Can’t wait to see „Grenadiers“ in the mix ... will make biblical weather more palatable I suspect! Oh,I have to ask... with that tour motto, the finish line won’t be outside a shop on Kings Road in Chelsea? All the best!
By the way, "Go team"!
Just read the blog. I need to take a break from working and start living! Looks like an epic adventure!
OMG sounds awful....still if it was all plain sailing as they say, it would be dull!!!! I hope you stay warmer and drier in days to come. xx
This is absolutely incredible!! Well done for all you have achieved so far and Good Luck with the rest of the journey!!!
Wow.. it is great to have the first hand view of such a lifetime adventure! From experience speed, wind and water do not mix... Water has a bad habit to pass everywhere, always!! if you add speed... (any speed) then you are in for a miserable ride! If you have waterproof material, it will not be sufficient.. you may not have sealed or welded seams which is usually where waters starts to come in first. From what I have learned from the various adventures I am sure help is on the way... to tackle the water issue. Enjoy and keep up the great stories!!
Wow, day 12 must have been horrendous - to force ‘taking stock’ would need biblical events!! Well done guys and glad to hear all are safe.
An freezing just reading about day 12!!! Some R&D for Belstaff regarding 💦 proof material?? However, with such downpour probably anything would be soaked. Keep safe and don’t forget your well deserved G&T’s!
Well done Team Ineos hope you guys are all keeping up with SJR 💪🏻 #teamwork #life time memory’s #welldone
Well done guys it looks amazing
Avidly following your adventures...all eloquently recorded by Auld Mug;I feel as though I’m there with you! Zeus is clearly keeping an eye on you all! So many highlights already and you’re only half way! Love to all, DD.
Ha Ha.....Pruno lost his wallet!! DD & Gobby are amazed that he actually found it, things are looking up!!
Amazing Trip!! I am sure there will be more "best ever day" before Christmas. So how's BJ bike holding up? Has the Butch kept up with his fame of "fix them all"!! Enjoy and keep the stories and great pictures coming!
have great fun and good luck to everybody - best wishes to my friend David T. Sergio
WOW!!! What an adventure Team INEOS What you’re doing is amazing Good Luck everyone
Dear Jim thats just amazing beautiful! keep do that RENE
I swear those pesky Argentinians have it in for you, Jim. Is there something we don’t know? I’m laughing out loud thinking of all those bikes and cruiser going in different directions, whilst of course being very sympathetic! Well done! Keep it up.
Ok, as you may know I’m « addicted » to Jim’s blog! Better than any series on Netflix! Already thinking what to do when this incredible journey is over 😂! Keep on going, keep safe Tesm Ineos. Can’t wait for day 7!
Now I can see why you didn't come to the Old Boys Xmas Dinner, Jim. Keep it going. We will be watching from afar!
Wow..wow Awesome and inspirational! loving the blog all the best for the rest!! Zululand Pete (Gregg's connection😎)
Loving the blog Jim, you’re quite good...you should write a book! Also love the mantra: ‘Maximise the number of days that you never forget’!! Really looking forward to joining you all in a few days for a week that I know I will never forget. Take care and drive safely xx
I'm already hooked on the blog - many thanks for writing it. Day 4 brought back vivid memories of life in East Africa and migrating to Australia.
Wow, and we thought that Africa was bad for bureaucracy! Today’s events make that legendary Zimbabwean “bow & arrow” crossing look like a walk in the park. Well done to everybody on what must have been a very long day.....
I Trule wait everyday to follow Jim’s blog. What an adventure at the border. Must have been nerve wracking to say the least. It just shows the Ineos team stick together and get through everything as a team! 👍🙏 Hope the 2 David’s and my buddy David T. Are doing ok and not aching too much for day 5. All the best to all of you. Erich Imhof
Big Jim (James Che Ratcliffe Guevara), You're quickly gaining LEGEND status. Keep it going Next time you meet a bureaucrat have 50 dollars folded in the passport. Stick down your Mother's flag at final destination (you can't get a Jackdaw from a Budgies egg)and everyone know's "Nobody beats The Irish" Brave Heart - 'My Island' Drive on Dude and remember a glass of milk is as good as any Gin and Tonic.
Don’t you just love Peachy’s attempts at pretending to be a mechanic. Use a proper spanner or a big pair of pliers! Those little girly things wouldn’t have tightened anybody’s nuts! HTFU......
Looks amazing.....you are missing absolutely nothing here....its foul. I got slightly confused with the itinerary ! the route seemed to go up and down the continent...strange i thought..until i realised it was in alphabetical order and not route order...good job im not navigating for you. Have a great time xx Amanda. xx
Loving the blog, pictures and video!!! Sounds like you are all having quite the adventure. Ursula hold tight, female company is arriving in 17 days (and counting). Sending lots of love, Kathryn xx
It would appear that my first message didn’t make the grade ... Hopefully this one will. Love the Blog. Jim ... as eloquent as ever. Pat ... I hope you’re standing for no nonsense at the cafe. Have fun and stay safe. x
So far it seems just like the perfect adventure!!! Love the video!! Between the Hack and the Mummy you should have the best media people around to help out! Extend the greetings of all from Rainy, cold and overcast Europe (including UK :)!!) !
Loving the blog! Close inspection of the photo of Fat Pat’s Caf however suggests abundance of sugar loaded carbs🤣Good to hear you are all running and cycling too! Take care and good luck for your first big day!! See you all soon!
Looks an awesome trip thus far. Cannot wait to see more pictures of bike riding, rather than posing! Hope Ursula is okay and dusted down after her fall! Tell Leen that we have promoted Elaine Wyllie to CFO, O&P North! All the best, Topcock & the 3rd Floor ‘loonies’ @ Hans Crescent
What a lot of HAIR and dust (and opportunities for Imelda to get in trouble..! ) Ride safely team xxx Ps has anyone been woken up by the snoring yet??
I would have loved to drive my Ducati with you all!!! Enjoy and have fun xxx
Following you guys! Jim’s blog is great. Regards to my friend David T. And all the team!!! Erich Imhof
So good to here the progress. Keep it coming. Trying desperately to conjure up the image of dust and desert...it has been raining all weekend here in the streets of Paris. Hope Ben is keeping up with the youth!
Gobby here......well done everyone, the trip is off and running. Very happy that Pruno is on his bike! Loved Kneegate....very funny.
Best if luck Jim and Team! Sounds an amazing trip! What an adventure! Hope you will do something crazy in Australia next time! There are plenty of challenges here! All the best and no broken bones I hope!
Another epic adventure! Wishing you all a safe and amazing trip, take it easy and hope your bottom’s won’t be too sore! Ness x PS. Rich, make sure you use your new beard trimmer before I see you next, I don’t want to be greeted with a grizzly bear in two weeks!
Good luck to you all on this incredible adventure. I hope your Belstaff Kit protects & serves you well.
Gods speed to all!! Have fun bring back lots of pictures and great memories! In bocca al lupo!
Very jealous ... bags ready? .. all my respect to Fat Pat’s coffee, but ...Totti don’t forget the espresso coffee pump to fill up the adrenaline tank. Good luck to the team and enjoy. Love 😘 ETNA xxx
Wow - what a wonderful opportunity, have a blast guys and gals! (I see that once you've completed this training run, you may be ready to try traversing the continent of Australia!!)
Have a great time Guys! Wonderful terrain down there. Off on the push bike now with my mates for an Autumn Ride in the New Forest. Maybe not quite so exciting!
Good Luck Team! The weather can be horrendous in Patagonia! Looking forward to the blog!
Have a good RIDE all of you . Impatient d'avoir des news et photos
Another amazing trip! Enjoy and drive safely. Hugues
And so, another slightly “ unhinged” adventure begins! No doubt conceived during a session in The Grenadier? Full of admiration , best of British to you all . I’ll be watching from the comfort of Blighty.
just starting to get properly excited about the trip, helmet check, gloves check, amazing Belstaff adventure suit check, corkscrew check!!
Good luck everyone
